The complete CEE Champions project took place from September to November and delivered over 36 hours of exciting CS:GO gameplay on four levels of play – national qualifiers, national finals, regional group and playoffs. In total, almost 200 Slovenian players participated in the activities, but in the end, the title of the best regional team went to the Ukrainian side of Run or Die.
For outreach purposes, we utilized existing Game Gang and SPID channels, with a combined base of over 20.000 followers, a 5000-strong email marketing base, as well as topic-focused groups totaling over 5000 members – this, joined by paid ad campaigns on Facebook and Instagram, as well as two separate influencer integrations, further raised awareness among the player base.
This league presents the first time, we’ve truly met our goal of providing Slovenian players a direct path to success – as the best national teams had an opportunity to compete at the regional level and lift off their career.
The project spent by far the most time online and generated the most content of all our projects to date – a mix of which commentated remotely and live directly from the studio for national finals. Through the entire competition, brands were promoted as agreed to – be it via website banners, sponsored posts, white label generated content, sponsor segments/stream features, logo integrations, and more.
Overall feedback from the community was overwhelmingly positive, without any major issues noticed throughout the 2-months of its active run time.
